Exploring Ma Pi Leng, one of the Big Four Giant Passes in Vietnam. Through thousands of the colonial limestone peaks as well as deep and meandering valleys. Ha Giang Easy Rider Motorbike 4 Days 5 Nights

Night 0: Hanoi – Sleeper bus to Ha Giang (Meal: No )

19:00 – 19:30: Bus staff will pick you up at the hotel in Hanoi old quarter, transfer to the sleeper bus and departto Ha Giang.

 

Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van –  140km ( Meals: B,L,D).

05:00am: Upon arrival Bus stop at the hostel in Ha Giang. Guy picks you up to the homestay where you can take a rest and have breakfast.

08:30 – 09:00: Driver meets you and start discovering the beauty of Ha Giang. Drive on the undulating terrain, between 800m and 1 500m in height, through beautiful mountainous landscapes and terraced paddy fields. Have some stops for taking photo and visit the Heaven’s Gate, Bac Sum Pass, Fairy Mountain.

Afternoon visit some villages on the way. Visit the Vuong Chi Sinh’s Palace, a King of H’mong hill tribe before. Arrive Dong Van, check in the hotel/homestay then you have free time to discover the small ancient town.

Day 2: Dong Van – Lung Cu Flag pole – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – 130km ( Meals: B,L,D)

After breakfast take a stroll round Dong Van Market in the morning then do a short trek to Don Cao is an ancient fortress built by French people during the wartime to control the area before heading to visit Lung Cu Flag pole which is the top point of Viet Nam. After that, take a short walk to visit Lo Lo Chai which is a village of the Lo Lo people ( the Lo Lo people are one of Vietnam’s least-common ethnic minorities only living in this region).

Then drive to Ma Pi Leng Pass arguably the most beautiful landscapes in Ha Giang and also in Viet Nam. Arrive Meo Vac, check in the hotel/homestay. In the evening you have free time to experience the life of the local people in here.

Day 3: Meo Vac – Lung Phin – Ngam La – Du Gia – 120km ( Meals: B, L, D)

After breakfast take a short walk to visit Meo Vac Market afterwards keep going to Nho Que river to take a boat trip on the river to see the spectacular landscape of Ma Pi Leng alley.

Continue drive through Lung Phin to get to Ngam La where you could see very beautiful mountainous landscapes and terraced paddy fields. Arrive Du Gia, check in the homestay then you will do a short walk (5km) to visit a village of black H’Mong and swim at Du Gia waterfall. Back to the homestay in the end afternoon.

Day 4: Du Gia – Lung Ho – Lung Tam – Nam Dam – Ha Giang – 130km ( Meals: B, L)

After breakfast, depart to visit Lung Ho Pass where is known as a the second of Ma Pi Leng. Then keep going to visit a White H’Mong village which specializes in flax weaving. On the way back to Ha Giang will visit one more traditional beautiful village of black Dao where you could do a short walk around to see the beautiful village. Arrive Ha Giang in the end afternoon.

19:00 – 19:30: Bus will pick you up and transfer to Hanoi city

03:00am: Upon arrival Hanoi old quarter. Trip ends.

What to bring:

Please bring the lightweight, quick-dry clothing on summer, sun-cream, sun-glasses, long clothes covering the knees while visiting the temple and pagoda.

Bring the flashlight, alarm clock, Insect repellent, Sun block, sport shoes, cash for personal expenses, and hat or umbrella.

Prepare footwear: Sandals, hiking shoes, walking shoes, etc.

Double check your camera and photography equipment.
