Afterward, we will board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise, of about 25 minutes, along Thu Bon River to the Cookery School. This will give us a chance to view local river life, so make sure our camera is in hand. Upon arrival, we will explore the cookery school’s herb and vegetable garden before learning about some of Hoi An’s as well as Vietnam’s more well-known dishes. The cookery lesson runs for about 2 hours, each dish is first demonstrated by the Red Bridge’s Chef before we prepare the dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we can then enjoy our culinary creations. Rest of the day free at our leisure.
